The free parking was what first attracted me on-line, but it’s the smiles and graciousness of the staff that will bring me back! True the parking is great, free (and secure, behind a gate) which is a big plus to me. The room is comfortable, and on the edge of the center, so you can walk to all the sites if you like. But the front desk staff was the best! Very helpful. Also a big plus and under the category of why hasn’t thought of this before: the room key folder hqs a map of the city center on it ! Brilliant! Will definitely stay again the next time in Pau!

I read the reviews and chose this hotel for its location and safe parking. I was absolutely impressed with my choice- thank you fellow reviewers. 1. Parking off the street in an area where you can easily access your items and take them directly into the foyer. The area is monitored which means your precious items left in the car while travelling, are secure! We liked that we could go to the car and sort out our camping equipment without worrying who was checking out our vehicle. 2. The hotel staff were all awesome. From check in to breakfast, everyone was so helpful and welcoming. 3. The room was well appointed ( room 316) with everything we needed and it was lovely and clean. A big plus was the heated towel rail which meant I could dry our clothes quickly. Loved the turbo boost! 4. Breakfast was delicious. Fresh fruit, all the lovely little additions and a freshly made espresso from one of the staff. For €14 p/p it was plentiful and varied. 5. Location to the city centre! We walked to the lovely pizza restaurant a few blocks away for a late dinner and then the next day, we could leave our car locked in the parking while we explored the castle and scenic areas on foot. Again, the staff assured us we could wander out with no pressure to remove our car. Bonus points!!! 6. A lift! Yes, important with luggage in a 3 storey building . Straight from the car, through the foyer to our lift. 7. Pau is a hidden gem. How many times have you gone past on the peage and thought about stopping? We did and thanks to this hotel, we had a lovely overnight stay and will certainly return again.

Efficient and straightforward check in. We were travelling with friends and the hotel changed rooms so that we were all on the same floor. Room very comfortable and excellent beds. Very high standard of cleanliness in bathroom and bedroom. Good showers and plenty of hot water! Efficient, helpful and very friendly staff throughout. Parking secure, efficient and plenty of space. Would use this hotel again as approximately 10 minutes from centre and approx 12 to historic centre.

Room was lovely up to date and well presented staff were very friendly and helpful nice to have a bath with room and secure parking will definitely book again on our return.

Great safe parking under cover in a gated car park, the room was a nice size, very clean and comfortable with stylish decor. The breakfast was a standard self service continental. We had our breakfast at 9:30 am but the room was empty, no music, no staff and no other guests -so a little cold and clinical

Second time in France and first time in Pau. So far this is the best hotel. It exceeded my expectations. We found it very easy, The room was big, having a big wardrobe, many hangers and storage space, comfortable beds, big bathroom. Overall very cozy. The breakfast was great. I regret we did not stay longer in Pau but I'm thinking of another visit.

We only stayed one night enroute to Spain and for this the location is perfect. Comfortable room. Plenty of on-site secure parking. Short walk to the city centre.

The location was excellent with walkable access to shops, restaurants and sights. Car parking was great although the access road was narrow. The staff were friendly and helpful. Clean and efficient sums up this hotel.

The hotel is in a great location for the city centre. Staff are friendly and welcoming. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet and we slept well. We were allowed to use the car park before we checked in and also after we had checked out. Great to have a noon check out time as we were able to re-visit the city before we left.
